Emily Myers

Heartfelt vocals coalesce with a keen sense of imaginative storytelling, forming the backdrop to Emily Myers’ captivating Country/Americana sound. Hailing from Jefferson City, her musical curiosity led her to study opera and theatre at Oklahoma City University, where she discovered her true calling in the craft of songwriting. Today Emily is based out of Nashville, TN.

Country singer-songwriter, Emily released the title track of her upcoming EP, 'Unwrite Every Song,' on May 13th, 2022 and will follow it up with a new single, 'Ain't Gonna Be Mine' on August 5th. These songs that perfectly represents who Emily is in this season of writing and highlights both the detailed, hope-filled storytelling and the soaring vocals that defines her music. Emily debuted her title track at the famous Listening Room, an iconic venue that has housed some of the biggest songwriters in country music and is a regular performer in the Nashville music scene. This music follows three previously released singles, including her 'Wallflower,' 'Skyline,' and her debut track, "Bare Feet.' 

Emily Myers is highlighting this new music in a new show entitled, 'Girls Night Out,' that will go on tour later this year. A show highlighting on themes of woman empowerment and identity, Emily is determined to bring a fun, inspiring evening of music to the women who need their stories represented. She performs this show in traditional venues, but also for house shows and female centered organizations. 

Emily also writes custom songs for everyday people. It has been a joy to connect with fans of her music and give back by writing songs about the stories and people that have mattered most in their life. She has written songs celebrating their biggest milestones from weddings to graduations to anniversaries and all the intimate, beautiful moments in between. 

Additionally, Emily competed in the WAJ Competition & Immerse Competition, was a featured songwriter in the Project21 concert series, and is also a professional worship leader.
